If you are into afternoon tea this one is a must try. Fashion designer Tawn Chatchavalvong and Executive Chef Christopher Miller teamed up to create a special edition afternoon tea experience inspired by the glamorous legacy of the first St. Regis in New York and and modern thai cuisine.

Tawn C. has designed special obelisk-shaped tea stands which reference the iconic Manhattan skyline and the modern city views from The St. Regis Bangkok. He has also created a signature look – similarly inspired – which will be worn by the hotel’s associates during afternoon tea.

referencing the Old New York, Modern Bangkok, there are caviar, chive and sour cream cornets accompanied by sparkling tomato essence poured from a Champagne bottle, oysters Rockefeller; pastrami and mustard on rye; and smoked salmon and cream cheese bagels, as well as the legendary St. Regis New York cheesecake. More fun and delicate thai inspired are mussaman chicken petite pie, mor gaeng brûlée (coconut milk custard with duck egg)

In the mood for Italian or if you were antipasti monsters like us, Jojo is the place to be! Jojo is  “authentic Italian cuisine with a creative, contemporary edge, and a thoughtfully composed connoisseur’s wine cellar.” and also Jojo has an extensive antipasti menu you can’t miss!

we ordered Apple wood smoked Scallops, beef tartare, grilled octopus, veal, rocket salad with berries vinegar, they were all delicious! when i’m in a italian restaurant i always want to order the same thing as this will be my forever favourite pasta dish, I asked for a seafood Arabiata linguine which was not on the menu, and of course we saved room for dessert! (and you should always haha) it was called a modern tiramisu, which was mascarpone cream in a chocolate ball, melt down by some hot espresso. make sure you get a good bite from top to bottom to get all the textures and the coffee soaked lady fingers at the bottom.
