McQueens doesn’t necessarily means Alexander McQueen,
but it definitely means style and innovation.
McQueens in this case means Flowers.
I have never seen anything like McQueens,
the most tasteful, stylish and fashionable
flower label ever.

It all started when all the flower arrangements at Rosewood Hotel London catched my eye.
Not just for Rosewood, McQueen’s designs graces many luxury hotels in London, including The Connaught, Claridge’s and worldwide A – list events.
Here you can see the recent Wimbledon designs in Claridge’s,
The Queen with McQueens at the Canada House,
and the Vanity Fair Oscar Party at Los Angeles.
I had the true pleasure to learn at McQueens School of Flowers,
“I would say, this is the Parsons of Flowers.”
Here we go!
The class started early in the morning, and how sweet of a welcome with flowers and breakfast.
We toured the McQueens store, very amazed by how big their collection of vases, candle holders, glassware…are to facilitate hotel and event designs.
All the staff at McQueens are working hard on each of their station, getting ready for all the orders – they work 24/7!
The class I took covered table centres. You may know that I love table settings and home entertaining,
yes, I would really do that at home.
Duncan, our teacher, shows us a demonstration of a beautiful table centre.
He is one of the most experienced florist and has also taught at the Chelsea Flower Show.
Gorgeous! Duncan does it in a split second!
Now is our turn to make our two little table centres.

I really learned something, and now every week I fill my home with little table centres,
how pretty to have this around together with a home-cooked dinner?
Learn to appreciate,
This is living in style.
Now it does get more complicated, moving on to a bigger table centre.
Ta-da!
We took the table centres back and decorated the hotel room!
What do you think?
Love it here, other than the big orders of course you can pick out some bouquets at the store front
Until next time! I have to practice more at home and I will be back!
xx
