The Parker Palm Springs

I needed rest and relaxation after a manic September. Hubby prescribed a dose of Californian blue skies so off we flew! Having already visited Los Angeles earlier this year, we decided to experience a desert resort and settled on Palm Springs. We were lured by its reputation (since the 1920s) as Hollywood's desert playground for celebrities to relax and escape from the hustle and bustle of showbiz. The "Two Hour Rule" of Hollywood studios put Palm Springs on the map as a perfect getaway. Actors under contract had to be available within two hours from the studio just in case they were summoned for last minute filming. In Hollywoo...

Sicilian Jewels

First of all, sorry for the long blog absence. September is a pretty intense month in a fashion designer’s calendar. We have to deliver the Autumn Winter collection and prepare the following year’s Spring Summer collection for wholesale. It wasn’t all doom and gloom as we visited California at the start of October for some much needed rest and relaxation, so there are some posts dedicated to the sunshine state coming up very soon. Anyway, it’s full throttle back in Hong Kong as I have a number of exciting projects in the pipeline. Aren’t these Dolce & Gabbana lip colours gorgeous? I'm trying a different colour each day thi...

Joyce Style Icon

I was recently invited by Joyce to show how I would style and wear some fall winter pieces as part of their Joyce Style Icon online campaign. This Proenza Schouler silk box pleat dress is really me – the perfect day to night little black dress. The Marni mini satchel style shoulder bag adds a splash of colour and teamed with platform loafers creates a casual, sporty luxe vibe. Just switch the accessories to heels and a clutch bag for an evening look. Elizabeth wears: dress, Proenza Schouler (Joyce); bag, Marni (Joyce); sunglasses, Linda Farrow; platform loafers, ITHK. Food Glorious Food

Everyone who knows me knows that I love food! I'm afraid I'm a member of that club of Asian food snappers – people who take a photo of their food before tucking in! Here's a quick whistlestop picture tour of some of the meals I had in London… A Damien Hirst cow and chicken dominate the Tramshed restaurant, appropriately offering a choice of either roast chicken or steak… The famous roast chicken in all its glory… Good food and a girly catch up with my lovely dining chums Jenny and Yui from Asos… Tramshed is at 32 Rivington Street, London EC2A 3LX (020 7749 0478). Shrimpy's is inside a disused gas station but the interio...
