Happily Framed!

I’m a girl who lives in jeans. Black, blue, grey, white…torn, tapered, boyfriend, fit, slim, ripped….long, short…all kinds! Simply because they are TOO COMFORTABLE. The fact that jeans actually goes with ANYTHING, and you can dress up and down according to your pair of jeans and other pieces, it is the most versatile piece in the wardrobe. My wardrobe is pretty basic, but I love a basic warbrode, because it is timeless and comfortable. Just recently I’ve started to grow addicted to Frame Denim. I first learnt about Frame Denim when I was working at Net-A-Porter as a stylist, the jeans are so comfortable and look so good on t...

Winter Warmer Essential- Parka

It may still be warm in Hong Kong, but in Europe in general it is getting cold.. in fact.. rather cold. The constant rain and early sunset doesn’t help either. Now first world problem- what on earth is the best outerwear to beat such weather…that it is rainy, windy and cold but still staying “fashionable”? My answer is always a parka. I have a collection of coats, long, short, cropped, thick, thin….all sorts mainly because weather here in London is so unpredictable, and the temperature difference between outdoor and indoor is way too big, you can keep your summer/autumn wardrobe pretty much the entire year, all you need is a...

London Fashion Week SS15 Recap- Temperley London

One of my favourite designers in London is Alice Temperley. I have had the chance to meet Alice briefly once at a dinner, she is a very relaxed and beautiful woman, full of charm and talent. Last season her collection was gorgeous, so I was very excited when I received the invitation to see her SS15 show. This season, I was very surprised to see some of the styles that Alice has created wasnt quite her style, but as the show proceed, I saw the details and her signature coming in. A very floaty collection with light and draping tailoring, baby blue and pale pink palette, light fabrics and pairing with flats, the whole collection i...

Welcome to the Shoe Heaven

Who doesnt love shoes? I do, and by now you should know I’m a shoe-aholic who owns way more than sufficient pairs. So during London Fashion Week, aside from shows there are events that brands would love to take the opportunity to gather everyone in the industry, simply because everyone is everywhere and too busy to gather. It’s such a fun night to meet all these designers again. Celebrating the opening of the world’s largest luxury shoe destination, now open on the fifth floor of Harrods, a cocktail party was held last week, inviting brilliant designers and editors from international and local publications to share their passi...

London Fahion Week SS15 Recap- Shrimps

Fur for spring summer? I hear you. Inspired by organic rocky stone landscapes, ‘Pleasantville’, ‘The Flintstones’ and modern architecture, Shrimps SS15 introduced a new lighter faux fur material, the bright and vivid colour works pretty well with the season. As one of the most sought-after brands in the uK for faux fur, the brand had been working with a lightweight malleable faux pony hair as well as their signature faux fur, short-sleeved jackets, boxy coats and gilets hark back to the 1960’s. Continued to focus on outerwear and accessories, satchel buckle bags feature in structured faux stingray fabric, and a faux jaguar p...
