Craft my meal

When it comes to food, it is no denying that the restaurant scene in London is blooming. I kept telling my friends who are visiting there are seriously a lot of hidden gems, all you need to know is know the right person who knows the right place. Here’s one more for you. Set in Greenwich, next to the O2 arena (where Michael Jackson was meant to perform his final concerts),there is The Craft London. I am usually a very central/ west-end person, for me to have a dinner in Greenwich is quite an effort. Yet I have heard so much about this new Tom Dixon restaurant, with the kitchen running by Stevie Parle and Craig Johnson a...

Here in London, I’ve got a suggestion for you. what’s better than to have a nice relaxing afternoon tea on a long weekend with a dear friend or two?   The last French Queen Marie Antoinette, possibly one of the most controversial women in history, might or might not have said the phrase ‘Let them eat cake ‘during the outbreak of French Revolution. So you see my choices are not a lot when I was in Switzerland…this is one thing I have to think about when I move for retirement…! Other than drinking, wine after wine after wine, all I drank was water the coffee, their coffee is impeccable that got me addicted. I love their espr...

I’ve been to Florence few times when I was young, but I was too young to fully understand the art, culture, history and heritage of the beautiful city. I do remember it as a very beautiful and romantic city, so I decided to detach from everyone and everything, and went on a mini detox for 3 days. In less than 3 hours’ time I had arrived my first hotel (...

Regent Street Guide- Food & Drinks

So, in the last post I’ve talked a little about the history of Regent Street, now let me share some tips on food and drinks on Regent Street. It is one straight main road, but at times it is also quite confusing and navigating becomes difficult especially with the constant crowd walking in all directions on the street.  To help anyone saving time on locating where they are and where they want to go, Regent Street and Beacon had worked together and developed an app too make your life easier. Using Bluetooth technology to communicate with beacons in each store, so that as shoppers walk past, they receive alerts direct to their mo...
