London is a city where there are so many surprises waiting to be found. My latest excursion was lunch at HIDE. I have walked past this place many times, heard about this restaurant for a while, yet I never had a chance to visit. Finally, I managed.
‘The food I cook is entirely product-driven, taking the very best ingredients, questioning why we like them, and then highlighting those qualities in the most organic, restrained manner. It is food you can’t recreate at home, but it is also food that respects the integrity of the ingredient and the toil that goes into producing them. The opportunity to collaborate on Hide: the ch...

Sharing is caring! In Asia, we are very used to the sharing concept. In the West, while people love gathering around for food, it is not that common to order sharing plates. When Market Hall comes into the scene, it slowly revolutionizes the food scene in London.
What is very familiar to us- a food hall, is new to Londoners. Says in the name, Market Hall, is a market within a hall.
After the success in Fulham, recently opened is the new Market Hall in Victoria. Right opposite to one of the busiest main transport hub, Victoria station, the space that was an Edwardian shopping arcade, a restaurant and a club since 1909, now house...

Marylebone has become more and more fashionable, and there are so many nice places to wine and dine. 35 New Cavendish for example is one. Since its launch in November 2014, The Cavendish in the heart of Marylebone, is one of the places that most stylish locals hang out. This hip bar and all-day brasserie with a relaxed vibe and plush interiors, that combines the characteristics of an old world English pub serves a modern European menu. Being almost 2 years old, this little place managed to stay a well kept secret and only known among those who are “in the know”.
Newly appointed Italian head chef, Douglas Santi. With over ...

London is beautiful when the sun shines. One area that I particularly like strolling around is 7 dials in Covent Garden. It is a little tucked in the heart of Central London, be it just having a coffee at the famous Monmouth Coffee place, or enjoying a play at one of the many theatres, there is something for everyone.
If you’re in the mood for a little pampering and looking for beauty products, Caudalié is where you want to go. The French cosmetic brand that is known for utilising grapes from the vineyards in Bordeaux, Champagne and Burgundy for all the products. Founder Mathilde Thomas started the brand with her husband...

January is usually the time to set resolutions or begin something new. It is a time post-festive where you try to get your diet and lifestyle back on track. Just earlier I had the honour to attend a detox breakfast at the terrace of Pont St Restaurant at Belgraves Hotel.
Shortlisted for Best Neighbourhood restaurant in The Belgravia Residents Journal, Pont St’s executive chef Sophie Michell, known for her healthy take on classic dishes, will pair up with the veteran of organic cold press juices, Kara Rosen founder of Plenish Juice to create the ultimate detox brunch menu. Sophie and Kara have worked closely together to create...
