It’s coming back.

Followed by the celebration of SS15 at Galaries Lafayette joined by Georgia May Jagger and Jessie Ware last week, Mulberry announced the appointment of Thierry Andretta as the company’s new CEO few days ago. Today, Mulberry debuts the first in its series of digital stories featuring emerging creative talents.

The first film in this series stars Cressida Bonas (YES! THE Cressida Bonas) , a young British actress and dancer who trained at the prestigious Trinity Laban Dance Conservatoire in London, working alongside Michael Howells, choreographer Martin Joyce and director Ivana Bobic.

This is the first in a series of Mulberry Digital Stories featuring emerging talent from the worlds of fashion and style, film and theatre, art and design, digital and new technology. Actor from The Riot Club Freddie Fox also made a cameo appearance!

Inspired by traditional British gardens such as Kew, Great Dixter and Sissinghurst as well as contemporary British gardens in Somerset, the film features Mulberry’s new Buttercup Dress, part of the Spring Summer 2015 Capsule Collection, and explores the mood of carefree lightheartedness evoked by an English garden on a summer’s day.

A truly British brand, full of the English heritage and supporting talents, the brand is coming back after staying low-profile for the past few seasons.
Here are some of my favourites from the AW15 collection…can’t wait for the season to arrive!
