One of my favourite designers in London is Alice Temperley. I have had the chance to meet Alice briefly once at a dinner, she is a very relaxed and beautiful woman, full of charm and talent. Last season her collection was gorgeous, so I was very excited when I received the invitation to see her SS15 show.

This season, I was very surprised to see some of the styles that Alice has created wasnt quite her style, but as the show proceed, I saw the details and her signature coming in. A very floaty collection with light and draping tailoring, baby blue and pale pink palette, light fabrics and pairing with flats, the whole collection is very cheerful and soothing, makes you really want to wear them in spring summer. In Alice’s own words, “Suiting is a key focus for Summer 2015, soft sculptured lines, layered to create an effortless silhouette with femininity accentuated by rich jacquards, beautifully ornate detail and fresh colours.”

“The radiant colour palette takes inspiration from Japanese Shunga ink paintings and the patterns of woodblock prints illustrated through the rich juxtaposition of checks, stripes and abstract marine life across silks, knits and embroidery.” A collection with effortless tailoring and soft structured coats and skirts, this is definitely a beautiful collection after merging Alice by Temperley into Temperley mainline collection. Not only this is the first collection after merging both lines, this is also a new launch of the brand’s lace-up flats that has been seen on models. Effortless relax and romantic- Alice Temperley is a woman who shows you how to do it perfectly.
