It is when Burberry Prorsum returns, it also became London Fashion Week’s biggest show. Every season the whole industry excitedly anticipate the show, from the setting, collection, models, and music chosen, everyone is just wondering what will Christopher Bailey brings to the show.  Front row guests at the show are always mega influential people in the industry, this season there was Samantha Cameron, Anna Wintour, Kate Moss, Cara Delevingne, Ko So Young, Mario Testino, Joey Yung and more…

This season, I particularly love the rainbow colour palette of the collection, it shouts vibrant, summer, colourful and cheerful. When a troop of gorgeous models walking in rainbow colour trenches, the scene is so beautiful that it’s beyond words. Spring Summer collection “The Bird and the Bee” consists of printed honey gabardine, dégradé silk and suede, wing-pleat tulle, indigo denim, shearling etc in colour palette such as poppy red, fern yellow, pale sweet pea, beetle green and rosehip…layered tulle dresses, draped skirts, trench coats, wasp waist denim jackets etc…it simply brings you to a blossoming lively spring garden that is filled with joy and summer breeze..

Of course,  a Burberry show wouldn’t be complete with the innovation and personal touch of Christopher’s sweet note.
This season, Burberry offered In-Tweet Purchasing as the brand’s latest digital evolution. It offers a new way for Burberry customers to shop. Twitter customers in the US were given the first opportunity to purchase a limited number of  the new S/S15 runway nail colours In-Tweet, as soon as they appeared on the runway.

At the same time they offer Runway Made to Order on Burberry.com. Outerwear and bags from the collection are now available to purchase and personalise exclusively on Burberry.com until Monday 29 September. Pieces from the runway will be made to order for delivery within nine weeks, allowing customers to be the first to own pieces from the collection, months before in store.

At the end of the show, every guest receive an email from Christopher Bailey expressing his gratitude- this is exactly the personal touch the brand does really well that makes the difference. IMG_0888
